BOO

Finally went through my messages (which went back to August) and remembered to say thanks, lol.

So, you think you have me all figured out, do you? You think by threatening me with court, that I "can't" see my child that I'll automatically give in and apologize and be the useless peon that I was hey? Wrong there doll face. Trying to get full custody is the most selfish and inconsiderate thing you could possibly do. I flipped out because your mother passed a stupid rumor that I never said, as fact and YELLED at me for it. And as for the court thing, I'm just going to let you have your way, once again. I don't have the means to support him, not even for a partial custody. However, I am joining the Air Force, and I am going to see him while I'm on leave. I'm sacrificing 6+ years of my life to make sure that you, and your family can support Charles. You'll get to see him every damn day of your life. Me? A month out of the year. That's the sacrifice I'm making, and let me assure you, it wasn't an easy one. I'm not saying you aren't making any, you're carrying him. It would be idiot to assume otherwise. But don't ever think that my life is all fun and games, I spend 50+ hours a week working to make ends meet, I give you what I can, when I can. Most weeks I hardly have gas money to make it anywhere. You can think that I'm an overbearing fuckhead, I don't care. But I at least expect the kindness and reasonable argument, that I am trying. That I am 164 miles away from family, living on my own, making my own sacrifices, being along, for OUR son. I am not a bad person. I don't care that you don't believe that I've changed.
I really don't. The ONLY thing I expect from you, is to at least see my son from when he's born, until I leave for basic, and then when I'm home on leave. That's it. Just because you had a bad father doesn't mean I'm going to be. I'm not a bad person, and I'm not going to be a bad father, even though you obviously feel otherwise. I don't even expect a reply to this damn thing. Anyway, I've got to get some sleep for work tomorrow. I am sorry for what I said earlier, I did overreact and I shouldn't have said what I did. Sleep well Melissa.
